MHEG Release

 

DTG Testing is happy to announce updates to their MHEG test suite products for UK Freeview HD, Freeview NZ, South Africa and Ireland.

There are new tests for SA MHEG HD extensions based on “MHEG-5 Profile for South Africa Version 2.2”, and bug fixes for all MHEG platforms.

Existing licensees with a current support contract for these test suites are entitled to the updates at no extra cost.

The test suites listed below should be used immediately for all development testing.

All UK and New Zealand test suites will be in use for conformance testing by DTG Testing from 27/07/16. The current released versions will be used only for devices presently under test, with an end of life date of 31/10/16.

Over-air download schedule

DTG Testing manages the UK Engineering Channel which is used for over-air downloads to receiver software and interactive application testing for the Freeview, Freeview HD and Freesat services.
